The breakfast was splendid, and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms aren't especially romantic, with plastic flooring, white walls and fluorescent lights, but it was a great quick stopover. You're close to the motorway while still in the countryside. We arrived two hours late, and the staff went out of their way to help us get the keys and charge our car.

You'll need a vehicle to reach this countryside hotel in Skåne, since there's no public transport. The setting is lovely, with forest, a lake, a huge garden and a smaller herb garden. Rooms are in several little cottages, and ours was clean with a comfortable bed. Friendly staff and a good breakfast, too.

A unique setting made for an unexpected experience, suitable for young and old alike. We tried waffles at the far end of the grounds, and the Swedish fika was really good.

For a basic room, a great meal and a perfect breakfast, this is a very good deal. It's not a five-star hotel, and the staff were really nice.

The service was caring and friendly, and the location is good. Highly recommended.
