Comfort Hotel Jazz, Borås

The room was clean and looked after, though the bathroom felt cramped and the corridor could get noisy. Breakfast had a good spread, and the reception made both check-in and checkout easy. It’s also an easy walk from the train station. Still very good value.

The price was reasonable, and it was close to the venue we were going to. The town has some really cute spots, but it felt unsafe at night, especially around the hotel. We heard a lot from the street and the store downstairs, including people yelling in the middle of the night. Maybe the hotel and location were nicer in the past, but our room was pretty noisy.

The reception staff were very helpful, and the rooms were clean and bigger than I expected. They haven’t been updated in a while, but were still perfectly fine. Breakfast was limited, though it had most of the usual things. We heard some noise on the fourth floor, which we’d been warned about, since the hotel is right in the center. For the price, it’s good value, especially if you’re on a budget.

The room, bed and shower were all okay, and the internet was easy to access and had good speed. There are plenty of nice restaurants less than a 10 minute walk away. The service was really nice, everyone seemed relaxed and happy. It’s one of the lower priced hotels, so why pay more? Also, you can pick the music you want in the elevator, which is just great 🤣🤣. Breakfast ends at 9, though I’d say 9:30.
