Best Western Hotel Halland

Quiet, clean, comfortable rooms and a wonderful breakfast made for a good visit. Parking is limited, though: we arrived a bit late and all the spots were taken. Staff also said the basement was open, then stopped us when we went down and said it was being renovated. Still, it was a good stay.

The staff did their best, and the place looks better than it used to. The bedrooms still seem a bit dated, though I'm not sure when they were last updated. Breakfast was the main problem. It was simply rubbish: cold coffee, no proper European options, and I left hungry. The location should be a real asset, which makes it sad that breakfast was even worse than what I'd expect from Scandinavians.

Nice, welcoming staff and a good stay otherwise. The room was fine but a bit too warm, and the fresh, decent toilet was on the small side. Breakfast let things down: weak juice and coffee, and bad fruit. I'd still recommend it.

I've stayed here on almost every trip to Sweden, and the service is wonderful. They did seem to miss my request for extra-large towels, but otherwise I have no complaints. The breakfast is amazing, with lots to choose from: tasty rolls, sandwich toppings, cereal, yoghurt, juice, coffee, and especially good little sausages and bacon. The rooms are gorgeous, with really comfortable beds and handy TVs. Soap and shampoo are supplied, along with complimentary tea bags, instant coffee sachets, a couple of sweets, and two bottles of lovely flavoured sparkling water. All I can say is thank you!
