Hotell Boras, BW Signature Collection

I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel. The room was extremely dated, and there was hair all over the shower. Noise was unbearable: I could hear the neighbors using the bathroom, walking, watching TV and even putting things on their cabinet. People talked loudly in the hall, and music blasted late into the night. In the middle of the night I called another hotel to see if they had a room. The whole place had a very strange, uncomfortable feel.

The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. There’s nowhere to put your clothes except in your suitcase, since the rooms have no closets or drawers. The mattress was very soft. It’s okay for a short visit.

The room was small and simple, but exceptionally clean, and I wasn’t bothered by noise at all. We stayed one night and parked for free on the street outside, one block from the entrance. Breakfast was fine, and the breakfast staff were very friendly.

There’s a window that lets in fresh air, which is a plus. Otherwise, you get what you pay for: small rooms, old decor, and a lift that has to be 100 years old.
