Hotell Solhem Park

We arrived in the middle of the night and getting in was easy. The rooms were clean and stylish, and all the young staff were friendly and accommodating. They even greeted everyone with a good morning at breakfast, which was wonderful. Great place to stay, and the price is marvelous for what you get.

We only needed the basics, and the room was clean, bright and fine for that. The bathroom was basic too, and very clean, but had a slight drain smell. The restaurant did the job, though it could have offered more vegetarian choices or sides.

The beds were comfortable and breakfast was included, with a pretty decent selection. The rooms were okay, though the bathroom didn’t quite feel up to hotel standard. It’s a motel style place a little outside Borås center, so it’s handy if you’re driving. Just watch the parking: it costs extra and is run by a private company. We got a ticket in the morning. Fine for a stopover.

I’ve stayed here before, and it won’t be my last time. It’s peaceful, cosy and close to nature, while still very near Borås centrum. My small single room had what I needed for two nights, and was clean and mostly in good shape. Breakfast had lots of options, including fruit, berries, yogurt, cheese, fresh buns and sweets. As a tea drinker, I was glad to find black, green, herbal and brewed tea. The friendly staff were in a good mood and lifted mine. Next time I’ll make time for the gym.
