The place looks pretty, but the stay was uncomfortable and felt like a waste of money. Dinner was $25 for a small Caesar salad that never made it to the room, and it was so salty. I had to go downstairs just to get a bottle of water. The TV programs weren't available, and the Netflix button on the remote didn't work either. There was no laundry bag or laundry service option in the room. At breakfast, they didn't have decaffeinated tea. The hotel seems more focused on appearances than on useful amenities. Even basic things cost extra. Toothpaste wasn't provided, and there were no toiletries or face towels in the bathroom, which made showering feel unsanitary. There wasn't any lotion either, unless you paid for it. When I asked for Ipren for a headache, I was told to wait until Apoteket opened to buy tablets. And for checking out just 10 minutes late, I was charged 125 sek. Pick somewhere else if you want a convenient, comfortable stay.

Parking is limited, so you have to reserve in advance. Apart from that, I had a great stay at Quality Hotel Grand in Borås and would happily return. The location is central and made it easy to get around. Staff were friendly and professional throughout, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice with everything fresh. My room had been newly renovated, looked fantastic, and was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable too, and the shower was excellent.

The gym and sauna were good, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular. My standard room was spacious and clean, though simple but okay. Part of the hotel was under reconstruction.
