The owner clearly runs this place with love, and is a lovely person to talk with. It’s a wonderful stop in the Swedish countryside. If you're nearby or passing through, stop in Bräcke and enjoy some nature. In summer, there's a great dock across from the train station where you can jump into the cold lake.

I stayed here for many nights while attending the Better Software Conference, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, and both room and laundry service were great. The attached restaurant was phenomenal. I’m looking forward to being back in Bräcke.

Bräcke is a lovely little town, with forests and a lake close by. Jämtkrogen Hotel hosted our conference wonderfully, with kind staff, great facilities, and lovely rooms.

The Italian-style restaurant was a highlight of my stay at Jämtkrogen Hotell & Restaurang. The food was full of flavor and expertly prepared, and the waitresses were gracious and added elegance to the meal. The hotel itself has a cozy, welcoming feel, with a charming old-fashioned interior, and the staff were friendly and attentive from the moment I arrived. I'd highly recommend it for a comfortable stay and a very good meal.
