Hägern Bed & Nature

We had a lovely stay in this little B&B and really enjoyed swimming, hiking, renting bikes, and playing mini golf. Our room looked over the lake, and it was a perfect place to unwind. We cooked dinner in the small kitchen. Just keep in mind there are no restaurants on the island, and the nearest shop is 10 km from the B&B. The host was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was served in our room or on the terrace. There aren’t many hiking trails on the island if that’s what you’re looking for, but the bike trails are good.

The family room was great, with a small kitchen where we could make our own dinners. There aren’t many restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful time at Lake Bolmen, staying at Hägern B&B, a peaceful spot close to nature with fantastic lake views. It’s a lovely place to relax. The host was very friendly and helpful, and canoeing was great, with lots of little islands to visit.

We decided on the spur of the moment to take a three-day canoe trip around the many islands in the lake. The host gave us great advice and equipment, which made the whole experience awesome. Lovely B&B!

The lake view and surrounding nature are wonderful, and the quiet here lets you get away from noise, stress, and city pollution. Breakfast was great too. I’ll return whenever I can.
