Bromölla Camping & Vandrarhem - Hostel

I paid 550 Swedish kronor but couldn’t come because of an emergency, so I emailed and texted to ask for my money back. They never replied and kept it. Booking.com emailed me yesterday, January 17, 2025, saying they had asked the hostel to refund the customer 550 or some amount, but the hostel hasn’t answered their message either. I’m just an ordinary person and I’ve given up. They can keep it if that makes them rich. Be careful and don’t pay in advance.

We had two hammocks, and they were flexible with us even though none of the tent spots had two trees. It’s quite cheap for a tent and a bike, and warm water without a limit is included in the price, which you don’t find everywhere. The people were nice, the lake was lovely, and the washing facilities worked well.

It’s handy for a one-night stay, especially with Ivösjön so close and good swimming nearby. Just be aware that they charge per person, not per tent like many Swedish places. There aren’t enough sockets for charging devices, and the service could be friendlier.

The lake is absolutely beautiful, especially in the evenings for watching the sunset. We didn’t camp here, but spent a few evenings by the water, and also rented bikes for a day at a very reasonable price. The trails from the campsite are great. We had fun at the mini golf too, which was trickier than we’re used to. Reception staff were really helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
