The beds were really comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from. Staff were friendly and parking was ample. The evening meal was okay. The hotel is beside some shopping malls, with little else in walking distance, though it's handy for picking up trip essentials. The rooms felt extremely outdated and shabby. One shower tile was quite sharp, and the complimentary toiletries weren't very good. For what it offers, I found it overpriced.

The restaurant buffet was extremely mediocre, and I don't think it was worth the money. I'd avoid eating it.

I often stay in hotels for work, sometimes for a month at a time. After nine nights here, I'd say this place suits stays under a week better. The overall experience wasn't among my best, though reception staff were consistently helpful. If the room cleaning hadn't been delayed, the stay would have been okay. The location is convenient. There's a large mall about a two minute walk away for groceries, Tesla charging in the parking lot, and several charging stations for non-Tesla cars about a ten minute walk away. I didn't try the hotel's breakfast or buffet, so I can't comment on those. The bathroom looked clean and tidy and had the essentials, including soap and body wash. It also had a heated floor, good shower pressure, and hot water straight away. There was a closet area, an iron, and an ironing board. Only three hangers were provided, though that may be enough given the space for folding clothes. The room has no mini fridge, which would be useful for longer stays. I was there for nine nights, but for a longer stay I'd consider buying one to keep in the room. The sockets were awkwardly placed. There wasn't a free one near the bed, and the two I found behind it were being used for the bedside lamps. I think each side of the bed should have at least one available socket. Cleaning was the main problem. Rooms are cleaned only on request. I asked after five nights, but it wasn't done. I had to request it twice more before they finally cleaned the room after seven nights. For longer stays, there's no hotel laundry service or self-service machines. I couldn't find any coin-operated machines nearby either. From what I read online, those machines aren't as common in Sweden. I'd suggest putting a mini fridge in the rooms.

You get a lot for a reasonable price: good service, a short walk to the parking, and a well-equipped mall nearby. Once Covid-19 is over, Putin is gone, and things are back to normal, you can have a jolly good time here. Norway is close, including Kongsvinger and Magnor, known for handblown glass, and Oslo is also a short way away. Enjoy.
