The owners' homemade breakfast really stood out for me, especially the bread, porridge and marmalades. The garden is truly one of a kind, and the rooms were clean and cozy, though fairly basic. If you're in the area, I can't recommend this place enough.

We spent a couple of days here on our honeymoon, and the beautiful rustic setting made it feel special. The staff and service were absolutely fantastic. Both breakfast, which was included, and the dinner we added were delicious. We also loved sitting in the garden with a book in the warm afternoon sun. One day we drove 60 minutes to the Carl Larsson home, which was a treat. Highly recommended.

There’s a lot of history and culture tied to this spot, and being near the lake makes the surroundings amazing. The beds were clean and cozy, the staff nice, and the food great. Genuine is the word that comes to mind for a visit here.
