The staff gave us a warm welcome and were really friendly. There’s a great play area for the kids, and the view from the restaurant was fantastic. We’d love to come back, there’s so much to do in the area in both summer and winter, and new facilities are being renovated. In summer, there’s a big play space next to the hotel and a nice running and walking track downhill, including a route for little kids. In winter, the lift is right next door, and you can ski cross-country in and out of the hotel.

We hadn’t stayed here, but went in to ask about booking ski lessons. The guy at the desk walked up to the lift with me and my family and introduced us in person to a Ski Instructor. He could’ve just pointed us in the right direction, so I really appreciated that personal touch.

The ski tracks were good, and the staff were pleasant, though things felt a bit disorganized. The food was the biggest letdown: breakfasts were very basic, and the dinners were bland and sometimes cold. The sauna was nice, but the pool felt small, crowded, and cold. We probably won’t come back.

A great spot to spend time when the kids are tired or the weather’s bad. There’s a playroom, billiards, and a ping pong table, plus a bar and café. After three, the pool and sauna are open. You can stay overnight too, though I haven’t done that. It’s a vintage ski resort inn that feels like stepping back in time. The lunches are fantastic and very fairly priced, and they serve a three-course dinner in the evening.
