Ödevata Gårdshotell

Our favorite part of the trip was staying in a camper spot right by the lake, rather than at the hotel. The grass spots were much nicer than the concrete ones. We spent our days canoeing, swimming, fishing, and using the sauna. The owners are super friendly, and you can tell they put a lot of love into the place. We made such nice memories here. If you're after a typical Swedish setting, this is the place.

Ödevata Fiskecamp was the highlight of our holiday. We had a really nice room, clean and fresh with a lovely view, and the shower was fantastic. The shared kitchen was huge, well equipped, and very convenient. Kids could use the lovely playground, as well as little bikes and helmets around the grounds. We loved the floating sauna on the lake, and breakfast was amazing, with lots of local organic food and some vegan choices.

Our group of 11 had a great time in Sjövillan, the house between the 2 seas. We had a nice hot tub, a sauna, and a boat with an electric motor for fishing. We caught a few pike, nothing big, but it was fun. I'd recommend the whole place in ödevata.

The home-baked bread at Patrick's breakfast was a highlight, and we also loved the sauna boats, canoeing to Picnic Island, the glass blowers, and evenings in the barbecue hut or by the pizza oven. Doro and Patrick gave us great ideas for short trips nearby. We spent an unforgettable week in Axelsson's Gröna Länga apartments with our family of four in June. It was our first visit to Sweden, and we fell for the country, especially Ödevata. The farm, forest, and lakes made it easy to enjoy the surrounding nature. We’ll definitely come back.
