Parking was difficult to find, and the hotel should try to sort that out. The buffet breakfast was decent, with a reasonable range of choices. It’s officially a three-star place, but I think it deserves a little more. The location is so convenient that, judged on that alone, it could nearly be a four-star hotel. It’s a good three-star stay overall, though parking needs work.

There’s a laundry room and a gym, plus a great breakfast and even an Abba pinball machine. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean. A really amazing hotel.

The views from the waterside rooms are great, and the staff are friendly and handle problems quickly. Beyond that, the hotel is mostly functional. The decor and equipment are nearing the end of their useful life: the furnishings are worn, and broken desk chairs have been replaced with stackable ones from the conference area. Things work, though not always as expected, and there’s nothing special about it.

The location is hard to beat, and I’d recommend it to friends. Service was impressive, with staff greeting us warmly and smiling. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine and had gluten-free options. My only complaint was the shower head, which looked outdated and a bit like an ill-fitting replacement.

The staff were very friendly, but the room could’ve been cleaner. We had a lovely river view, though around 30 large spiders were hanging in the window.
