There's a big surprise inside this unassuming hotel: a lovely, welcoming interior, kind staff, a clean and comfy room, and a delicious breakfast. I also liked having coffee and snacks in the lobby. I came to Falun to visit the Carl Larsson home, and this was a very convenient place to stay. I'd highly recommend it if you're in Falun. Thanks for a lovely stay! If you're taking the local bus to the Carl Larsson home, it picks up right outside the hotel on the same side of the street. Check the departure times, as the service isn't very frequent.

Cosy, clean and has a homely feel. There's an elevator, too! The one downside is that reception closes at nine. It would be nice to have somewhere to sit and get a coffee or tea, or maybe a kettle, teabags and Nescafè in the room.

There's no restaurant, but the room was spacious and well equipped. It's very handy if you're visiting Falun Hospital. It's accurately advertised as a 3 star hotel, and that's no bad thing.

The room had everything I needed, and was quiet with no noise from other guests, footsteps or insulation sounds. I accidentally arrived without a booking, but the staff helped me get one after 21. Breakfast had most of the usual options you'd expect at a good hotel. The cappuccino setting on the coffee machine was a nice extra. ☕😉 A couple of things could be easier: the bright white LED on the TV woke me whenever I opened my eyes, and it was awkward to hold a plate while opening jars and lifting lids. Still, an awesome hotel. Keep up the standard 😁👌
