We spent our summer holiday in 2024 at Villa Mia, four of us with a dog, and had a really great time. The first problems, including a sauna that wasn’t working and the lack of a BBQ, were sorted out easily and satisfactorily. The house is impressively large and well equipped. The kitchen especially has plenty of everything for any occasion, unlike the exact counts of glasses, cups, and spoons you get in some holiday rentals. The village is small, but it does have a shop for everyday needs. There’s a nice little river beach a short walk away, where I’d go for a swim before dinner. Villa Mia isn’t brand new and doesn’t have the latest fittings or features, but we’d still recommend it 100%.

Vidsel is a beautiful area, and the people we met were very nice and helpful despite the Covid restrictions. I had friends who could help me through anything, which was lucky, and the holiday was lovely.

Sandra & Sven were lovely and helpful landlords, and the house made for a wonderful holiday. I’d highly recommend staying here, especially in winter. Just please don’t book when we’re coming back, grin!
