Kolmårdstorpet Blomsätter

We were the only guests there during high season, which made the situation even stranger. We're a family of four, two adults and two children, so we booked a family room. The host then asked for an extra 400:- because we had two kids, on top of a room already priced at the premium level. The so-called family room was a basement room, barely 2.10 high, with no ventilation beyond a few window openings. It was listed as 20 m2 but seemed closer to 15. Neither Wi-Fi nor phone reception worked. The host said, "That's how it is in the country," though I pointed out that Wi-Fi depends on the router's range, not the countryside. If the price hadn't been at Sheraton level, and if we'd been told about those conditions beforehand, maybe it would have been acceptable. We weren't, so this gets the lowest rating.

Air conditioning was installed in 2021, and the cottage was fully renovated that same year, so the room's ceiling height is now completely acceptable. Breakfast service is closed due to Corona. The cottage has everything you need, so bringing groceries and cooking breakfast or other meals there works fine.

A very peaceful place, with welcoming hosts, a comfortable night's sleep, and nicely themed rooms.

The people were very friendly, and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. We had a delicious Kjötbullar sandwich for dinner at a reasonable price. 👍👍😋😋😊😊
