The showers had no time limit, and having a dishwasher was a real bonus. It’s a great campsite for properly unwinding, yet still quite close to Stockholm. We’ll definitely be back!

The live music and Saturday night crowd made the restaurant pretty noisy. We also waited longer than expected for the food for this kind of place. The staff were friendly and helpful, though, and the food was decent, better than I’d expected.

You can park your vehicle, swim in the lake, try the water sports or jumping, and have a lovely picnic with your own food. It’s a really good place, and everything is free to access.

The views are stunning, and the site has good facilities. Check what’s open before you go while COVID restrictions are in place. In normal circumstances, it’s amazing, with a restaurant, bar, and live music every week.

The washrooms and toilets are very good and clean, and there’s a little beach for people plus a separate one for dogs. The site sits between a small lake on one side and woods on the other, and you can see a historical train behind it. It’s not too large. The restaurant is the one drawback: the food is edible, but not enjoyable, so self service is the better option.
