I stayed at this hotel for a couple of weeks and found it really peaceful and relaxing. The waiters were all very kind, and the hotel restaurant serves really good food.

It’s been renovated so wonderfully well, and the surroundings are lovely, with chances to walk, swim, and go horseback riding at "The Prince's Arabs". I hope the castle finds a new use soon. There are so many possibilities for creating a business here.

The setting is lovely, and I’d recommend a walk. Even better, go for a run before breakfast! The room was nice, though not in top condition. Service could be clearly better. The afternoon tea had a fantastic selection, and the sauna, jacuzzi, and cheese buffet were very good. The four-course dinner was good overall, lifted by the other dishes and the buffet cheeses, but the venison with baked potatoes disappointed me: the meat was nice, while the sides were tasteless. A castle weekend I’d highly recommend in almost every way.

There’s a nice atmosphere, but the service is far too poor. The staff are doing their best, though they’re probably understaffed.

A lovely setting, superb food, and an exciting overnight stay. I can definitely recommend it.
