You can sit outside on summer evenings and watch the big Finland ferries go past around 8 pm. The food, drinks, and service are all first class, and the setting by the sea is beautiful. Furusund has a long history as a stop for ships travelling from Stockholm to Finland. Since the 19th century, it has also been a popular summer retreat for Stockholm artists and writers, including August Strindberg and Astrid Lindgren.

The island's lovely to walk around, either before or after a meal. We also had a lot of fun playing Shuffleboard in the bar. The food was exceptional, and the location was lovely.

Our work night out was with a group of nine, and it turned into a really good dining experience. The staff were friendly and easy to approach, the food was excellent, and the beer tasted clean and fresh. We'd definitely come back, 10/10 all round.

A little off piste from Stockholm, but worth the trip. We only had lunch, and it was great, with high quality produce. The kitchen is open, so you can watch the chefs prepare your meal, and there's plenty of boating to watch from the great location.

We loved the charming, super cute hotel and the very friendly staff. The restaurant has great views, and breakfast had lots of options. We had dinner too, including the children's buffet, which was very good value. It was great being able to take several boats to the archipelago just in front of the hotel. The room was very clean when we arrived, but cleaning was the one thing that needed improvement. Nobody cleaned it on the second day. On the third, they made the beds and brought fresh towels, but dust was still blowing around on the floor.
