The beds were unbearably uncomfortable. Everyone staying there complained about the mattresses and none of us slept well. Two tenants chose the floor because it felt more comfortable than the beds. If you value a good night's sleep, don't stay here. There was no heating system or radiators. The place seemed to rely on heat from the house below, which we assumed was never turned on. We complained separately about how freezing it was, and two tenants refused to return over the issue. They were Swedes, used to the cold, and called the landlord a charlatan. The landlord also came upstairs every day and walked around the home while tenants were out. It felt creepy and very invasive. If you care about privacy, avoid this place. Issues were handled very poorly by the owners, too. The Wi-Fi didn't work in most bedrooms, so you needed an ethernet cable, which you can't connect to a phone. There was no washing machine. The landlord washed clothes once a week and bed linen every three weeks, which is very poor service. The electrical appliances were installed badly and hung loose from the walls. Using the stove and oven at the same time blew all the fuses. There was nowhere to park, so I left my car on a grass verge by the street and got a parking ticket. The landlord offered very little help with that. One bedroom had a huge hole in the floor that had simply been carpeted over. The kitchenware was laughable: one saucepan, one frying pan, one knife, and so on. Fine if you're alone, impossible to share with several people.
