Apple Hotel

Breakfast was included and had a nice variety. On my business trip, I found Apple Hotel & Konferens Göteborg comfortable, with a clean, simple room and a window I could open for fresh air. There wasn’t a kettle in the room, but the 24-hour coffee bar had hot water, which was handy. The location felt safe and was easy to get around from. Max Burger is a five-minute walk for a quick meal, with an ICA supermarket a little farther along. In the other direction, a 10-15 minute walk gets you to more restaurants and shops. It works well for business or a short leisure stay.

The bathroom was a little small, but for the price this is an excellent choice. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and both tasty breakfast and dinner were included. It’s also not far from public transport and the main routes. A very nice place I’d recommend.

The tram made getting around easy: I got from the train station to the hotel in under 20 minutes, and Liseberg was less than 30 minutes away by tram. I arrived very early and was allowed to check in straight away. The staff at the front desk were kind and helpful. My room wasn’t luxurious, but it was comfortable, clean, in good condition, and more than adequate. The gym was useful and easy to access. There’s a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away, along with some other shops. Breakfast and dinner are served as buffets, and both were very good with plenty of food. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby all day. The outside of the building looks mundane, but the sitting area inside is nice. There are also games to play if you’re traveling with someone. I was on my own, but it’s still a nice spot to sit and read or write. The price was very good for everything included, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. If I return to Gothenburg, I’ll stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

For a three-star hotel, it’s pretty good. The rooms were clean, parking was free, and there were charging stations for electric cars. Breakfast and dinner were included, and you definitely won’t go hungry, though the menu hasn’t changed since last year and the meals could be more interesting. The pool water wasn’t heated. The bed was uncomfortable, maybe because the mattress was old and had lost its shape, or because the bed itself was broken. It’s not bad overall, but there’s room to improve.
