Good Morning+ Goteborg City

I was worried about feeling seasick on a boat, but you can't feel it moving at all, so that was no problem. The staff were super friendly, breakfast was awesome with lots of vegan options, and it's a perfect spot for a few nights in Gothenburg. Would recommend it 100/100!

The walk into the main part of town takes a little while, but it's reasonable. I liked the cute hotel and the good rooms, and the staff were friendly and helpful when I checked in. My only issue was the sloping bathroom floor, or list, since it's on a boat. Water from the wet room shower would flood the bathroom.

It's a converted ship, which gives the hotel a special charm. The rooms are small but comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, and the location is handy for both sightseeing and everyday errands, with a large grocery store and the city center only a few minutes away on foot. Breakfast tasted good and offered a decent range, though the dining space was crowded and noisy. A good fit if you want somewhere unusual and central, as long as compact rooms and busy mornings suit you.

After driving for 12 hours from Germany, I arrived with my family of six expecting a reasonable overnight stay. In Room 103, the bunk bed was visibly falling apart and unsafe. I wouldn't let anyone sleep on the top bunk because I feared it could collapse, and I have video evidence. The hotel advertises a restaurant, but no food was available because of a staff shortage, and we weren't told in advance. Nearby restaurants were closed, so my family went to bed hungry. The receptionist was alone and overwhelmed, which I don't blame her for, but it points to a management failure. Parking costs extra despite the very limited spaces. This doesn't feel like a three-star hotel, one star at most. It was my first and last stay, and I can't recommend it.
