Liseberg Grand Curiosa Hotel

Being inside Liseberg Park made the stay feel like part of the outing, and the park atmosphere is lovely in both winter and summer. It’s also easy to get into central Gothenburg, with a tram stop a minute away and regular, reasonably priced public transport. Our room was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and had enough space and storage for a family. The staff were friendly and happy to help. It’s a very easy place to stay with children. My one small suggestion is to add an adjustable shower, since there was only a handheld one. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would recommend it to families visiting Gothenburg.

The breakfast had a great variety, and the hotel is right by the entrance to Liseberg theme park. We were a group of friends, but it would work just as well for families with kids. The room was spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds, and the staff were friendly. Loved the interior and decorations, with its old luxury feel. One small gripe: for a large room booked with 5 beds, there should have been 5 glasses and coffee mugs, and 5 pouches each of hot chocolate and coffee, rather than just 2 of each. Still very happy with our stay, and I’d come back.

We visited the amusement park during our two-night stay, 07/12/26 to 09/12/26, and this hotel was a great fit. The rooms were spacious, and the same brilliant oriental and steampunk style carried through into the bedrooms. Reception and bar service were good. We only ate breakfast, but there was plenty of choice, and the Christmas ham was really tasty. Printing our park wristbands at the hotel also made things easier.

There are lots of activities inside the hotel, so it’s extremely child friendly. It’s in Liseberg, next to the amusement park and indoor water park (oceania). Our stay was pleasant, the rooms were excellent, and the bunk beds were top quality. The showers had great water pressure too. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options for all ages. Parking is conveniently available within 150 meters, with many charging points. It’s Goteborg parking, named "Vastra".
