The food was a real highlight: dinner was great, and breakfast had loads to choose from. The only change I'd make there is swapping the bland juice concentrate for real juice. The campus is lovely, with the accommodation spread across separate houses, and it's a good idea in principle. But the rooms badly need updating. The bathroom felt especially dated, with wet-room carpet on the walls and floor, an old sink and faucet, and no shower shelf. You can also hear far too much between rooms. The soundproofing is absolutely terrible.

Visingsö was lovely, and it's the only reason I'd give this place two stars instead of one. Our Easter night at the hotel was a bad experience. The room was extremely old and nothing like the nicely renovated photos people have posted. It was also freezing because the radiator didn't work. We wore two layers of clothes and stayed under the blanket. We emailed the hotel and got a quick reply saying they'd send their "vakt mästare" right away, but nobody ever came. The room cost far too much for what it offered. I wouldn't recommend this hotel or stay there again.

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was good for the price per night. We also borrowed bicycles, which was really convenient. Check whether bike rental is included in your package deal. They run the nearby hostel too.

A cheaper option for a visit to the island, and it was OK. We booked a package with bicycles and dinner. Neither was particularly impressive, but both were acceptable.

The staff were friendly and professional. It's a nice, basic hotel, though the rooms are rather small, have no air conditioning, and are pretty basic. The food was OK.
