The stay at Skeviks Farm was shaped as much by the people and food as by the setting. The staff were warm and clearly knew the farm’s history, sharing stories that made the place feel more personal. Dinner was a real highlight, with fresh local ingredients and lovely regional flavors. We also spent time exploring the farm, picking seasonal fruit and meeting the animals. The rooms had a cozy rustic feel with modern comforts, and waking up to the countryside views was memorable. There are nature trails and outdoor activities too, which would suit families and anyone who enjoys being outside. Skeviks Farm in Gustavsberg sits among greenery, wooden buildings, countryside views, and the nearby sea. It felt peaceful from the moment we arrived, almost like stepping into a storybook. I left enchanted by the whole visit and would gladly recommend it to someone looking for a Swedish farm stay.

Maybe every Swedish retreat is nice, but this one was REALLY nice. Cozy, with great food and a top-notch sauna.

The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable, though the soundproofing could be better. We woke up when other guests went through the fire doors in the corridor. The set menu came with great food and service. The place adapted well to the COVID restrictions, and I felt safe the whole time. Very nice and pleasant.

Dinner was amazing, and I’d strongly recommend eating there. The room was a letdown, though: it was dark and there wasn’t enough space to unpack my suitcase. The sea also wasn’t as appealing for a swim as I’d hoped. The hotel mainly hosts conferences. It only started taking tourists in early 2018, so it’ll probably improve quickly.
