Hotell Amadeus

The service was almost nonexistent, and the rooms were quite uncomfortable, with bathrooms that were even less satisfactory. The location was satisfactory, as was the breakfast.

I’ve stayed here twice, for four nights in total. The rooms were consistently comfortable, and everything was really good, from breakfast to the rooms. The hotel is close to the city centre, and you can reach everywhere easily. It’s about a 10-minute walk through the city from the central station.

The beds were soft, and the breakfast was okay, though nothing special. The room itself was decent but a bit depressing, with thin walls that let you hear other guests. My window covering didn’t block enough light, so I woke up around 6am. The bathroom felt a little claustrophobic, but had enough amenities to make that feeling pass. I’d say the stay was worth about 70% of the price they asked.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the room we got looked nice, but it wasn’t what I’d expected. There was no conditioner or lotion, and the towels felt hard against my body. Breakfast was okay, but there was no real orange juice and the coffee wasn’t good. For the price range, the hotel’s standard was clearly too low. Thumbs down.
