Lovely people and a warm atmosphere in a beautiful countryside spot. Really recommend it if you're looking for somewhere rural. :-)

The golf course is really well kept, and the kiosk/cafe by the ninth hole has a good choice of food and drinks. Check-in was welcoming, and the food was very good, nicely prepared and a bit different. Room 24 was pleasant, though there was nowhere to hang or store things in the bathroom, which was genuinely frustrating. I also expected tea and coffee in the room when that was offered, rather than just sugar in the bowl. Reception sorted it out, but I felt awkward having to ask.

The owner was very nice, and the setting is lovely, with beautiful nature and horses. The cabins are okay, though they could have been cleaner. There was no lock on the door at first, but that was fixed. The kitchen, bathroom and toilet needed much better hygiene, and I missed having hooks in the bathroom. I don't like putting my things on a dirty floor. It's a pleasant, inexpensive place, and you get what you pay for. 😊

We went to the riding club and had a fantastic time. Such lovely people, and they looked after us so well.
