Calling it a hotel gives the wrong impression, it’s a motel, with a small room and very old facilities. After a shower, water was all over the toilet area 🤦🏻♀️ The room was hot, but the window is right by the road and people can look in, so with the window open all night it was noisy and hard to sleep. There were also lots of camping guests outside. No hairdryer in the room 😮💨, and reception closes after 7pm. There’s nowhere nearby to get a drink or food, and the price is high for what you get. I wouldn’t recommend it for the price versus quality.

The grounds were lovely, with pretty views to wake up to, and our room was comfortable for two people. We only stayed one night, but the woman running the place was extremely kind and helpful. She served a nice breakfast with meats and cheeses and pointed out nearby sights. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

The owners and staff were so kind and ready to help during my two-day stay. They gave me useful ideas for enjoying the area, helped put up my tent, and were there whenever I needed something. The location is amazing too. I liked it so much that I’ve already booked another stay, and I can’t recommend the place enough.

There aren’t many pitches, which keeps this campsite quiet and cozy, without huge caravans. We chose one at the end and had a bit more privacy. The toilets and showers are few but were enough, and there’s a small kitchen for washing dishes or cooking. You can get straight to the beach for lovely walks or a swim. We even picked blackberries from the bushes for breakfast. I’d recommend it for small campervans, tents, and small-scale camping.

We arrived in our camper van unsure whether to stay, and a very friendly woman gave us a really warm welcome. The facilities were clean and very nice, with a direct view of the sunset.
