Otterbergets bad & camping

We really liked the tent pitches, especially the nice terrain and their location at the side of the camping. The sanitary facilities, though, were rather old-fashioned and weren't always very clean. The camping service building could do with a makeover. The outdoor kitchen area is windy and cold, so I'd move it if renovations happen. It would also be great to add a fridge to the kitchen. This was the only camping so far in Scandinavia without one.

The owners were lovely and had answers to all our questions. They clearly know how to run a campsite. Although the weather wasn't on our side this year, there was still plenty to do within 70km of the camping. It's a superb spot beside a nice open lake. The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy, showers were warm, and the dining area had an old TV and enough reading material to keep you occupied for a week or two.

There's a lot of coming and going at this campsite, which is a good base for reaching interesting sights nearby, such as Tiveden and Laksö. The sanitary building is a bit old but well kept. Showers cost 5 crown pieces, and there's a kitchen with tables for eating indoors.

There’s plenty to keep kids busy, with a beach and different play yards. This nice camping has several kinds of accommodation, including original Stuga's. There's also a shop selling food, coffee, other refreshments, and some nice gifts. Recommended!
