Peace & Quiet Hotel

We were lucky to see the northern lights three nights in a row from the hut on the frozen lake. The place felt incredible, almost pure magic. Björn, the owner, made sure we had everything we needed, and we learned a lot from him. Thanks, Björn, for an absolutely incredible stay!

The wilderness and comfort go together beautifully here, whether you’re after adventure or simply a scenic place to relax. We visited in summer and got to enjoy the midnight sun. The accommodation is playful, and you can tell a lot of care and imagination went into it. The location is breathtaking, and our stay at the Peace & Quiet hotel will stay with our family.

We took the snowmobile from the car park to our room, then walked back through the woods the next morning. The tent was warm and had everything we needed, from cups to pots. Sitting by the fire outside at -25, the owner served us dinner and explained where each course and part of the meal came from. The personal touch is what sets this small family business apart from other “glamping” I’ve done. From the tent and the customer experience to the northern lights, it felt like a dream and became a core memory. It was the highlight of my year, and my wonderful better half loved it too, even though she was born in northern Sweden. She and I highly recommend it. Gaz from Ireland.

The dinners around the fire on the iced river, listening to Björn’s stories, are something we’ll always remember. We also spent a morning with a reindeers herd, an immersion in Sami culture that Björn organized, and it will stay in our hearts. We were there for two nights with our 3 kids (3, 6, 14 years old), and it was an AWESOME experience, a 10 out of 10 for us. The floating glass igloos are comfortable luxury, and Björn was a wonderful host, always available and happy to help. Thank you for these unique moments!
