It has a family run feel while still working well for business trips. Service was great, and the location, rooms and breakfast were all lovely, with lots of homemade treats. You can book the pool and sauna for a private hour. Very nice hotel.

A generous table made it easy to get some work done, and the room had plenty of space. The bed, mattress and linen were comfortable, with lots of little details that made the stay pleasant. It's not a fancy hotel, but the comfort and value are very good. Breakfast had an okay range and the staff were really friendly. My one small gripe is that the pillows could be more comfortable. I'll stay here again on future trips.

The front desk staff were excellent and helpful, and I liked the cozy feel, good breakfast and location near the train station. The rooms are a little dated, though, and I had some hot water issues, so that's why I'm giving four stars. I'd still consider staying again.

The breakfast was good, especially the SCONES. But the kitchen smell was strong, and at 4 p.m. my room still hadn't been cleaned or made ready.

The free-flow champagne was topped up often, so our glasses never sat empty. The sashimi was very good, and I liked the Italian station too, as well as some of the dishes brought to the table from the menu. We had made clear when booking that we wanted a window table for the champagne brunch. At first they seated us in the middle of the restaurant, but after we mentioned it, they quickly arranged another table.
