The staff are what really make this little hotel stand out. They’re friendly and keen to help, and the wine bar/restaurant, shared areas and adjoining O’Learys add to the appeal. It feels just right for a small-town Stadshotell. This was our second stay, and we’d come back if we’re in Katrineholm again.

We were there in midsummer, and the heat in the room made it difficult to sleep. The window only opens a tiny bit, so there’s barely any airflow. It might be more comfortable in winter. It would help if the windows could open fully instead of being limited to that narrow gap.

We had a great stay, and the breakfast was very good. The hotel was clean, and the staff were warm and helpful. Sweden’s covid restrictions meant we couldn’t try the restaurant, unfortunately. I’d still recommend Hotel Statt to anyone staying in Katrineholm.

The rooms were clean, though a little small, and the staff were kind and helpful. There’s a good range of breakfast options, and the restaurant/pub does really good food for dinner. A very nice hotel in Katrineholm.
