The hosts were friendly and attentive to the details, and my family really enjoyed our stay. The garden is huge, with wonderful lake views. Our room was spacious, fresh, and spotless. The hotel is gradually being renovated to its former glory, and we plan to come back.

There are lots of statues and other art around the grounds, along with an interesting history of the area and herrgård. It's a beautiful place, though it's starting to look a bit ragged. Be sure to see the masugn?

The beds were really comfortable, and I loved having a gym and pool table. It felt like staying in a mansion. Very good hotel.
