Kinna Bed & Breakfast

Just a short walk from the train station, this is a cosy, pleasant place to stop while travelling through the countryside.

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from. It’s normally served in the ground-floor kitchen, but as only two rooms were occupied while we were there, we could eat at the owners' café a few streets away. The house itself is beautiful, with charming decor and a typically Swedish feel. It has 10 rooms over three floors, with a shared bathroom on each level. We chose the Royal Room upstairs so we’d have our own bathroom, and it sleeps up to five. Ours had a shower, sink, and toilet. The room was simple by German standards, but it worked well for us. There was a double bed, bunk bed, single bed, table and two chairs, plus bedside tables. No wardrobe or decorations. The whole place was clean and tidy, and the heating kept it warm through the storm and heavy snow. There’s also a large common room downstairs with tables and a television. We stayed three nights while visiting family.
