Scammers! I bought a few ski passes ahead of time, but bad weather meant the lifts were closed. They asked me to fill out a form and said I'd get my money back at the end of the season. I called and sent several emails, but nobody ever replied. It's been more than a year.

I stayed here last week, in late May 2022. The receptionists were friendly, but what happened at the lobby bar left me wondering whether the service was generally poor or directed at people of color. I waited over 20 minutes for my food, then went to the bar and stood there another 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. The staff were busy chatting with each other. When I explained the delay, they said the food would be out any minute. I waited at the counter again, and after another 10 minutes they picked up my hamburger and fries, which had apparently been sitting there for at least 15 minutes. It was cold. I asked why, and a staff member looked embarrassed and called it a mistake. They awkwardly offered to microwave the food, so I had to convince them to make a fresh plate. After the long wait and being ignored, reheating cold food was the best they could offer? Other customers seemed to be getting their meals and service just fine, which made the difference in treatment hard to miss. Disappointing.

The lobby and floors were dirty, even after cleaning, and burgers had been left in the seating areas for two days. We were also surprised to be told our room wouldn't be cleaned for four days because of Corona, though it had been clean on the first day. I came from Austria for a different kind of skiing, with a very positive view of Swedish people from friends and past holidays here. The employees, and especially the hotel manager, changed that impression. They seemed not to want to work, and didn't seem to know how to do hotel work. There isn't another option here, so you have to come, but don't be surprised.
