Our room was clean, but it was short on towels, water, and coffee, and there’s no AC. We arrived at 6:00 PM on Friday and found our keys left at the front desk, which didn’t feel safe. There’s no staff after 1:00 PM on Fridays or weekends, and breakfast isn’t served on weekends. It was scarily quiet.

The rooms were comfortable and roomy enough, but the beds were awful. The building is very old, and the sauna and jacuzzi were under construction during our stay. Nobody had told me before I booked, so we couldn’t use them. One morning, kitchen problems meant breakfast was replaced with a dry sandwich and a small juice. The other days, breakfast was poor and the same every day. The receptionist wouldn’t even greet me when they saw us. Please stay away from this hotel.

Getting around Kista Science City is easy from here, and the staff have been friendly and helpful every time I’ve stayed. Breakfast is tasty, too. I keep coming back to Memory Hotel in Kista because the rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and well laid out for relaxing after a busy day. It’s become my go-to when I’m in the area.

This is a business hotel, and late check-in needs planning. There’s no reception open late, so make sure you get the instructions before you arrive or you could be left outside. In winter especially, that’s the last thing you want.

There’s no dependable number to reach the front desk, which made things more frustrating. The building is old, the room was basic, and the bed was awful. Wi-Fi was either very slow or didn’t work at all.
