The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the owners were kind and very service-minded. Breakfast had plenty of tasty local options. It's a cute B&B close to most of Kivik's destinations, though the room felt a little small and there were few outlets, none beside the bed.

There were plenty of spots to sit outside, in the garden or by the entrance, among apple trees and berry bushes. It was just right for coffee or a quiet break. The owner, Lasse, was very friendly and liked chatting with guests, which made the place feel welcoming. You could also buy hand cream, soap and other small products at reception. Our room was fresh, quiet and well insulated, and we slept soundly without outside noise. I woke to the smell of apple pie, a cozy start to the morning. Breakfast was generous and homemade, with muesli, walnut sourdough bread, apple juice and more. The price is edging toward hotel level, but the charm and experience still made it feel worthwhile.
