We booked a cottage with one bedroom and got a shed instead. It had a sofa bed, and there was blood on the pillows. The door frames were filthy, as was the bathroom tap. We left after one night and emailed the owners with photos and an explanation, but never heard back. We even paid for one night.

The couple who run the place were incredibly sweet and helpful, and the grounds were top-notch. The beach is only a five-minute walk away. I didn't stay at their B&B, but I did enjoy the great ice cream, coffee and lovely porcelain products.

There's a beautiful woodland right next door and a good beach nearby. The location is amazing, and Kivik is close enough to drive to. A lovely little B&B, with helpful, friendly people.

We arrived in the late afternoon to check in for the one-bedroom cottage we'd booked and were shown a shed. We had to leave our suitcases there because we needed to be somewhere else, then came back late that evening and had a proper look. The main bed was a sofa bed, the inside was filthy, there was brown gunk around the bathroom tap, and the front door frame was stained. Worst of all, the pillows had blood stains. God knows what they might have been infected with. We couldn't find anywhere else until the next night, but believe me, we were out of there the following day. BE WARNED! We begrudgingly paid for one night because we didn't want to be accused of doing a runner. We emailed the owners, who never even bothered to reply.
