STF Skäralids Camping & Vandrarhem

We wanted to camp in a tent, but the pitch we got was packed with campervans and we didn’t like it. We decided not to stay and asked for our €100 back, but received nothing. The customer service felt poor. I felt ignored and invalidated, and they pointed to the policy and said we should have read it. I understand that the policy supports their decision, but not refunding even one night just doesn’t feel kind. I can’t recommend the place. My tip is to read the policy carefully.

The owner is friendly, and the toilets, showers and kitchen are clean. Being close to the national park is a real plus. Still, it gets crowded, the campers are close together, and the road can be heard in the distance, so it isn’t especially quiet. It’s a decent site for a night.

A nice stop for a visit to Soderasen Park. The campsite is small, so it feels quiet and calm. Things are simply and well organised, the facilities are good, and the hosts are very nice. It has a cozy vibe.

The ground is even, but quite hard when putting tent stakes in. The campsite lights are far too bright. We’re quite far from the nearest light, yet it’s bright enough to read a book in the tent. The rest is okay.
