The sauna and the overall atmosphere were lovely, and my room was tastefully done. I stayed at Krusenberg Herrgård this summer and was really impressed by how well the property is kept. I’m a fan of boutique places that combine elegance with a relaxed, comfortable feel.

The restaurant was a highlight, with fresh, delicious food and wines that paired beautifully. The property is stunning and set somewhere peaceful and beautiful. Do try the sauna by the lake if you can. Just remember to get any drinks other than water from reception before making the walk out there.

We were there for a wedding, and it was such a pretty venue for it. The outdoor spaces were lovely, so even though the cute, rustic rooms got a bit hot in warm weather, we didn’t spend much time indoors. Breakfast was SO GOOD, with loads of choices, and I loooooved the pâté. We had dinner there too, and it was delicious. Such a great weekend!
