Kolmårdsgården

We got a nice breakfast, and the children were happy with the homemade pancakes. The hospitality and service were good, and the hotel sits right in the middle of the Kålmården wildlife area, near Kålmorden animal park, which is fun for everyone. There is some wear and tear, though.

The kids feel safe here, and we love having a family room where we can relax on the terrace while they play in the garden. We all enjoy staying here. Breakfast is lovely, but there weren't many vegetarian or vegan choices, though oat milk is now available. You can make simple evening meals in the kitchen. Good value for the money. My tip is to book directly with them for a cheaper deal. ;)

We visited in December and it was a fun chance to see a real Swedish house. The hosts were lovely, pets are allowed, and everything was spotless. The interiors had loads of decor and felt very cozy. The only downside was that it was cool.

The building may not look in great condition from outside, but inside it's really modern and well laid out. The rooms were very clean, and there are plenty of bathrooms and toilets, plus a kitchen, air conditioning, a TV in the living room, and lots of books in the small library. It was quiet and a great way to spend time in nature, with a very favorable quality-to-price ratio. The service was on another level. I was the only one in the building that night, and the lady got up at the time we agreed to make breakfast just for me. Thank you for your service, Agrita. I hope more people run hotels, hostels, and B&Bs this way. Best regards, Wojciech Kołodziejczyk
