The location is great, right by the beach, and the staff were very friendly and responsive both during booking and our stay. The lawn outside is ideal for older kids to play on, especially if they can stay up late. The place is child friendly for older children, but I wouldn't recommend bringing little ones. The cot we got didn't fit in any of the rooms, and the restaurant next door played extremely loud music until 1 am. Naptime was difficult too, with all the noise from the other houses. The place wasn't very clean, even just after the cleaners had been.

The top terrace has a nice view, five beers on tap, and was still cosy when it started raining, thanks to the partial roof and heaters. The menu is limited to simple dishes, so it feels more like a lounge than somewhere for a great dining experience. We didn't expect restaurant service and ordered at the bar, and our drinks and food came promptly.

Such a lovely place, and it was really clean. The rooftop terrace faces the water in the distance, a relaxing spot to have a drink. It's close to kilesand hamn.

The island is beautiful, but this hotel was very disappointing. Customer service was poor, and things throughout the hotel felt flimsy and low quality. A lot was broken: the blinds wouldn't close, the freezer was full of ice, the lights flickered, the kettle barely warmed up, and the closet door wouldn't shut.

We spent the weekend at a wedding with about 100 friends. A few days later, they charged us SEK 3,600 for a broken table. For the past three days we've tried contacting the person responsible for bookings, the hotel reception and them by email, but have had no response. At a wedding with over 100 people, it's normal for a thing or two to get broken without an extra charge. All we're asking for is some documentation for the cost. Lousy customer service, the Ryan Air of hotels.
