The food is still top notch, and the portions are big. I stopped in while visiting family after more than 25 years abroad, and found the same owner still running the place. I didn't see Mirko tonight, but met his daughter and her husband, who were in charge. They were just as nice as I remember Mirko being back in the day. I first started coming here in the early 80s for food and drinks, and had a blast, so it was a nostalgic visit. If you're passing through Lagan, it's well worth stopping to eat. You won't be disappointed. I'm not sure why Google only lets you review the hotel part, or whether they still even have a hotel.

The steaks and pizzas were both outstanding, and the staff were really lovely. It's a lovely place with old-fashioned charm that's been kept up over the years. Definitely recommended!

The evening meal was excellent and breakfast was generous. Such friendly, old-fashioned service too. Big-name hotels could learn from them. They're close to the Banvalsvagen cycle route and deserve more guests.

Really kind and helpful staff, and it's child-friendly too. The atmosphere is informal, the food is very good quality, and they had no problem accommodating diets, including vegan food.

Stopped for lunch at this local inn rather than one of the big chains. You can get traditional Swedish “plain food”, or husmanskost, here, and the pizzas are great too.
