Room 3 was lovely, quaint, clean, and just what we needed. If you're tall, remember to duck. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the view of Lake Siljin is gorgeous, especially from the restaurant. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. My husband and I both thought the water was the purest we'd tasted, the bread was delicious, and the butter melted in your mouth. We came from the USA for a concert at Dahalla, but it was canceled just as we arrived. Desiree, from the hotel, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and sort out problems that weren't the hotel's fault. Getting there without a rental car can be difficult since taxis are hard to find and expensive. Although the trip didn't go as planned, our mini-vacation was well worth it thanks to Tallsburgs Gardens, the lovely area and people, and especially Desiree. I'd gladly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The little tea garden out front has a fantastic view over the lake, and the ice cream is incredibly good! I wish I'd had time to stay and try the hotel and restaurant, but I'd already booked somewhere else.

This is about the restaurant, not the hotel. My wife and I both ordered the Swedish meatball dinner, and it was excellent, with fresh lingonberries. The service was great, and I was glad to see they offer NA beers as well as several NA wines.

The terrace gives you a great view of Siljan, probably the best thing to remember from the meal. It's likely one of the best restaurant views in Tällberg. The food was okay, a little bland and expensive for what you get. Service was just okay too. The wine was great, though a bit pricey.

The restaurant food was fantastic, and dinner went well beyond what we'd expected. The vegetarian choices were excellent too, and my boyfriend was happy to find local craft beer. We also liked the breakfast buffet, especially the amazing home-baked bread. The staff were friendly, and the room was nice with a comfortable bed.
