We stayed one night after a concert at Dalhalla. The rooms were great, the breakfast was great, and the staff were really helpful and amazing. Booking was easy, the hotel was clean and spacious, the location was beautiful, and you can charge your electric car. I strongly recommend it. The one downside was that sound carried clearly through the walls. My partner couldn’t sleep because we could hear the couple in the next room doing… stuff.

Nice place with good facilities, but the service felt limited. Reception closed before 6 pm, and self check-in came with little information. The few staff members we met seemed cold and distant. The room was very average too. We had a room for three adults, and the third bed was a broken matelass on the floor in the narrow gap between the main bed and the wall.

Tällberg is a very cute village, and we had a nice stay while driving north through Dalarna. The hotel had what we needed, including a great kids' playroom where we could leave the children safely and sit just outside by the bar. We didn’t have real complaints about the accommodation. That said, I can understand reviews calling it more of a hostel, even if that feels a little harsh. The rooms are very spartan, and the furniture and fittings could use a refresh. Given the price and the food options, the hotel seems to present itself as more luxurious than it is. The restaurant food was fine for a local pub, but the prices were on the high side.

There’s plenty for families, including a playground, a small sports court, pool tables, a gym, and a swimming pool. The surroundings are nice, with a view over the great lake Siljan. The rooms and interior aren’t anything special, but I’d still recommend staying here if you’re passing through the area.

We went as a family. The room was okay, just a standard Hotell room, I guess. The coat hanger was loose, and the shower head could’ve been much cleaner, but the beds were good and there was a travel bed for the little one. The afternoon Fika was great, with good coffee and biscuits. The almond cake was five stars :). There weren’t many people at the pool, which was great with the baby. I’d really recommend going after breakfast. Our package included a great three-course dish, though I prefer a buffet. The staff said the buffets would be back the following week for the summer :). And don’t forget the play room for the kids, a nice spot where they can run around and climb. All in all, an okay place to stay.
