We all enjoyed our two nights here. Our family of six used two rooms, which were spacious and comfortable, even if the decor wasn't modern. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The free mini golf was great fun, and both breakfast and dinner buffets were generous and tasty.

The staff are friendly, and there's generous parking close to the accommodation, but the family rooms feel very run down. Comfort is bare minimum, and the shower is borderline, with rusty pipes. It's clean and usable, though it has a creepy feel. The free 18-hole mini golf is excellent, challenging, and fun. Admission to the Boda glass factory visit was also included.
The price feels far too high for what you get. My lodge room was tiny, as was the bathroom, where there was barely room to move. There's no AC, and the window only opens a little. Heat from the back of the black window shade was so strong I thought the heater had switched on. Breakfast had a good spread and the main pool looked nice, but the two hot pools were barely warm. The goats were cute.
We came in autumn with three families and several children, and the nearby forest was full of colorful trees. The area is nice, near one of the outlets. The cottages were clean and new, with a good amount of space compared with places we've rented elsewhere. They had nearly all the household appliances we'd need, including a washing machine we didn't end up using. The staff were very friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay.
The grounds are lovely, with nice walking trails nearby, but the place didn't feel customer oriented. We came for my birthday weekend after reading reviews and checking what there was to do. The nature looked beautiful and the hotel had a pool and jacuzzi, so we booked two nights. Then we found out the pool and restaurant close at 14:30 on Sunday. It's the weekend, when people have time to relax, and in Sweden the warmest part of the day is around 15:00. There are other places to eat, but what about the coffee included with our stay? I was extremely disappointed. With the pool and restaurant closing so early, Sunday should cost at least half price. What else is there to do at the hotel? The double room bed was uncomfortable, and my back hurt after one night. The restaurant didn't have chicken, the only meat I can eat, and I can't comment on the food quality because it was closed when we wanted to eat. The ice cream bar also closes at 16:00 on Sunday. The ice cream was okay, not especially tasty, and I expected much more for the price. One more thing, the hotel is right in front of a graveyard. It may not bother everyone, but I wanted to mention it.
