Villa Foresta

We were disappointed by some of the food and how the meal was paced, especially for the price. The Malmström couple found their seafood and fish soup small, with little fish or seafood and mostly vegetables. The Frondell couple's “råkaka” was similarly underwhelming, just a small amount of shrimp on a very small piece of bread. The ox cheek was reasonably acceptable, but didn't leave us fully satisfied either. We did appreciate the lovely sunset view from our table, and the atmosphere at Villa Foresta is superb. Service started well, but when we ordered dessert and coffee, the coffee came first and the desserts took nearly 15 minutes. That threw off the end of the meal. We were also surprised to pay extra for water, since many restaurants at this level include still or sparkling water. On November 15th, we booked a table at Villa Foresta for six, three couples who enjoy fine dining and have travelled extensively. We had been looking forward to a memorable meal at Villa Foresta WS, given its reputation and beautiful setting. The restaurant has tremendous potential, and we hope they take this feedback into account. For this visit, we'd give it 3 out of 5.

We met up with 15 friends for one night, and the multiple bars and restaurant made it an ideal place to gather. The setting has such a peaceful feel, with beautiful décor, and it’s just 10 minutes from Stockholm CBD. The mix of water, forest, and city makes Villa Foresta work well for business or leisure. Best view and location when visiting Stockholm. Will be back.

The breakfast was nice, and the rooms feel much less plain than the usual white, sterile hotel rooms. It’s a really nice hotel in a great location, with some sick views, especially in summer.

There’s a really nice river view, and the hotel itself is interesting. My room felt old, the shower was very small, and some of the lights didn’t work. I was there for a meeting, but I wouldn’t pick it for a personal stay. There’s no restaurant nearby.
