My last minute stay in the last week of September was wonderfully quiet. I pitched my tent at the bottom of the garden, tucked away, and could make a fire just the way I wanted using some of their wood. Toni the owner was super lovely, and the bathrooms are great. Everything around is beautiful, from the lake shores, the most beautiful I've ever seen, to places to walk and pick mushrooms. The freedom they gave me and the beauty of the place made my stay in Sweden feel magical. I highly recommend staying here. Go visit the little Harbour of Spiken and the nearby castle. Fishing is very nice too. Thank you so much!

What an amazing place for a calm camping stay. There's also a beautiful café in an old Swedish house, with a lovely decorated upper floor displaying and selling everything you need for hygge.

The people running this place deserve every star. They're so kind, help you think through solutions, and made my birthday a day to remember. It's a wonderful spot for a cozy, relaxing stay, peaceful in the woods with direct access to the lake. The surrounding area is beautiful to explore too. I'd definitely return if I get the chance 😊

We spent two nights camping in a tent here and found it a lovely place to relax. You can rent bikes, canoes, and SUP boards, and there's a café with fresh homemade cinnamon rolls and cakes that are well worth trying. We'd definitely recommend staying at Läckö strand.

I stayed in a tent on the lawn in front of the main building. The garden was immaculate and well kept, but very close to everything, with no privacy. The swimming area is shallow, with a long wait, and great for small children. Nights were quiet, staff were friendly, and the gift shop and café are well stocked. There are only three showers and toilets for campers, so queues build at busy times. The main problem was the epidemic level of mosquitoes. I know that's a natural phenomenon and not the owners' fault, but they don't seem to do anything to reduce them, and leave several large open water containers, like barrels, where mosquitoes breed. That surely made the problem worse. It was a pleasant stay overall, and might have been fantastic without the mosquitoes.
