Best Western and Hotel Linkoping

The breakfast was very good, and I’d recommend it. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, and the hotel has the facilities I needed, including a conference room, gym, and spa. It’s right in the city center. One of Linkoping’s best hotels, in my opinion.

My room was right in front of the garage, along the same access corridor. It had no window at all, something I’ve never experienced anywhere before. There was no way to let out car exhaust fumes and get fresh air. That’s crazy, and it seemed perfectly normal to the receptionist. Looking at the reception, yo Avoid this place and find a real hotel. This feels like renting a box beside your car, with the business putting your health at risk.

I came along for my husband’s business trip and thought it was a lovely hotel. The room was small, which gave us a good excuse to spend time in the large lounge. The beds were super comfortable, breakfast was included, and I especially liked the sparkling water on tap. It was close to good food, too. I might have enjoyed it even more if I’d gotten past the time change.

A big thank you to the night receptionists Polo and Joakim, who helped sort out our problems during the nights we were there. They really made an effort. The hotel’s location near the center and other parts of Linköping was convenient, but that was the only positive thing I can say about the stay. The rooms were small, the bed was too small for two, and the bathroom was see-through with no lock on its door. We came to celebrate my father’s birthday, so it was disappointing to have the accommodation let us down. The service overall was terrible, and I won’t return. We stayed this summer and forgot to write a review then. I hope the criticism is taken seriously: the staff seemed disorganized and weren’t communicating with each other. Please don’t discuss your personal lives openly where guests can hear. Focus on the people staying there. Several guests were ignored as they came and went.
